UPDATE: Treasure Found!
Santa's key was found on the 8th day by brother/sister duo Brandon and Ashley Howard. Congratulations! Enjoy the $1000 reward!

This Treasure Hunt's Theme
This treasure hunt is themed around Christmas. Santa Claus has lost the keys to his sleigh and is offering a $1000 reward for the first person to find it! He needs the keys back ASAP so that he can deliver all the presents this year. The elves are busy tracing his steps. They have the best detectives on it! Elves will release a small puzzle each day for twelve days. Each day you should try to find time to solve that day's clues or puzzles. If you miss a day or get a late start, don't worry! Each day's clue shouldn't take more than 30 minutes or so. So you can get caught up quickly. After the twelfth day it is up to you to put all of the pieces together to figure out where Santa left his keys. First person to figure that out wins the reward!
How does this work during the pandemic?
This map was designed with Covid-19 in mind. You will not need to leave your home at any time to solve this treasure hunt. All clues will be distributed digitally and all answers can be solved using logic, research, and ingenuity. You may want to visit locations on Google Maps but you will not need to visit them in person.
Who are you?
We are Mike and Sarah Haverstock. Mike is a software engineer, and Sarah is a bakery owner. She's The Cake Lady in Warsaw, Indiana. We were in the process of starting an escape room in Warsaw when the Covid-19 pandemic hit. We've shifted gears and are offering remote-based puzzles instead. The treasure hunts felt like a perfect option. We think now, more than ever, a little bit of fun could go a long way.

Do I have to do this alone?
Absolutely not! We hope you work in groups to find the treasure. You only need to buy one map for your entire group. That being said, you don't want your group to be too large! How many ways do you want to split that loot?
How long will this last?
Clues will be released every day for 12 days between Dec 5, 2020 and Dec 16th, 2020. After that, it's up to you guys to piece it together. We expect at least one team to submit a correct final answer by Dec 16th. It's possible that someone solves this early too! It won't be easy, but it can be solved before having all of the clues if you take some guesses and put in the work.
Can I get a hint?
At no time can you ask for a hint. We will not give out individual hints. If we feel like a hint is necessary we will be making it available on our Facebook page.
How do I sign up?
