We've packaged this treasure hunt so that it can be played for fun. If you enjoy geo-caching, escape rooms, or treasure hunts you will enjoy this. All riddles pertain to Kosciusko County in some way. No travel necessary. You will want to use Google Maps for a couple questions. NOTE: there is no longer a treasure. It was found. To conclude this hunt you must simply submit all of the same correct answers that the winning team submitted.

You know how you've always said, "It would be so cool to go on a treasure hunt!". Well, this is that!

1. We've hidden $1000 somewhere within Kosciusko County.
2. We then devised a series of riddles and clues that tell you how to find it.
3. We are now offering you a chance to pre-purchase a Treasure Map.
4. All Treasure Maps will be emailed out 9/4/2020 at 7pm.
5. First person/group to find the treasure keeps it!

We are Mike and Sarah Haverstock. You probably don't know Mike, but you may know Sarah. She's The Cake Lady here in Warsaw. We were in the process of starting an escape room in Warsaw when the covid-19 pandemic hit. We've shifted gears and are offering remote-based puzzles instead. The treasure hunt felt like a perfect option. We think now, more than ever, a little bit of fun could go a long way.

Absolutely not! We hope you work in groups to find the treasure. You only need to buy one map for your entire group. Make no mistake, this won't be easy! It won't hurt to have people of different backgrounds, talents, and technical abilities to solve these puzzles. That being said, you don't want your group to be too large! How many ways do you want to split that loot?

This map was specially designed to maximize social distancing. Every single riddle / clue can be solved from home. You will not need to leave your home until putting all of the pieces together. When you've locked in the prize's location hop in the car and go get it! That being said, some may find it easier or more rewarding to drive around when solving riddles. It's all up to you!

Every riddle clue is centralized around Kosciusko County. You'll learn about people, places, and events from our area. HINT: Make sure when stuck to think about how a puzzle might relate back to Kosciusko County!

1. I really like puzzles. I enjoy playing puzzles. I enjoy writing puzzles. I enjoy thinking about puzzles.
2. I think this treasure hunt will bring excitement and joy in a time we really need some.
3. I'm interested in opening an escape room in Warsaw. Everyone I've talked to suggests that it cannot survive in a smaller town like Warsaw. This treasure hunt will serve as an indirect gauge for interest in an escape room.

Well, that's up to you! The treasure has been hidden. It will stay there until someone finds it. There's a GPS tracker on the prize so we will know when it's found. We will let everyone know immediately when it's found. Our best guess is this should take about 2 or 3 days.

There will be no hints during the treasure hunt. This will be a free for all. But, we're feeling generous. Just for reading this far we'll give you the first riddle early:

1. Respect social distancing guidelines. There's no reason you'll need to huddle around other people.
2. Respect private property. At no time will you need to trespass on private property.
3. Respect each other. Do not harass each other on social media.
4. Keep the map private.
5. Have fun! We firmly believe that even if you don't win the $1000 you will walk away feeling like you accomplished something.
